Atlantis will snap to Station International Space and its main task is to carry a mini-Russian module, the ' MRM-1, which will be joined by astronauts to the Zarya module station. It will serve two purposes: the first is to provide a new docking hatch to the Soyuz spacecraft and those inhabited by automated Progress supply, the second is to have a room added which will be used for research. Orbital on the house also carries a robotic arm ESA European Union. This is the third last flight of the NASA shuttle missions, and then used to carry materials up there especially useful reserve for future activities. The shuttle, which took up the name of an American oceanographic vessel, made its debut Oct. 3, 1985 (mission 51-J) and this is his 32nd expedition, the eleventh on the space station. Are there not many when you consider that according to the initial programs each shuttle was built to perform at least a hundred flights, but after the Challenger disaster in 1986 and Columbia in 2003 it was decided to close and restrict the use of the first reusable spacecraft in history.
